Brussels, 10 Oktober 2025 – The PRO Circularity Alliance has been officially established as an international non-profit association (AISBL) following the granting of a Royal Decree and publication in the Belgian Official Gazette.

This achievement marks a major milestone in the development of a unified European platform that represents Producer Responsibility Organisations and strengthens their collective role in driving Europe’s circular economy.

A Stronger Voice for Circularity

Headquartered in Brussels, the Alliance serves as a collaborative hub for PROs across key sectors, enabling shared expertise, coordinated advocacy, and knowledge exchange.

The PRO Circularity Alliance is committed to:

• Promoting high-performing Extended Producer Responsibility schemes as effective tools for circularity
• Advocating for harmonised implementation of EPR across sectors and national borders
• Supporting innovation, transparency, and traceability through digital solutions and data-driven collaboration

Membership and Collaboration

With its official recognition, the Alliance is now open for membership, welcoming Producer Responsibility Organisations across the European Union that are dedicated to advancing sustainability, resource efficiency, and circularity.
