On 15 September 2025, the PRO Circularity Alliance held its Opening Session in Frankfurt, bringing together representatives of Producer Responsibility Organisations (PROs) from across Europe.

The event marked the first occasion for potential members to meet, learn more about the Alliance and its objectives, and discuss expectations and priorities for the months ahead. Following an introduction to the Alliance’s mission and governance structure, the afternoon was dedicated to an open exchange on the role of PROs in the evolving EPR landscape and how the Alliance can best serve their interests.

Moderated by Bernhard Schodrowski, the session created a constructive environment to set the groundwork for collaboration. An informal dinner afterwards provided further opportunity for networking and personal exchange.
